This was testimony submitted on the Prince George’s County Public Schools FY22 Capital Improvement Plan (CIPP) as part of my volunteer work with the Sierra Club Climate Parents campaign.
This letter was submitted to Comptroller Peter Franchot expressing concerns about placing the cost burden of moving WSSC water and sewer lines on rate payers rather than the private companies that would be profiting off of Beltway and I-270 expansion. This was part of a letter writing campaign led by Citizens Against Beltway Expansion.
These comments are in support of the proposed rule “Metrics and Minimum Standards for Intercity Passenger Rail Service” (85 FR 17835, March 31, 2020), which will set metrics and standards for Amtrak in order to improve service for passengers. This was based on a call to action by the Rail Passengers Association.
