I was reading stories such as this one about Elon Musk wanting to build a HyperLoop from Washington to Baltimore, and thought it was not the greatest idea. But then I was sitting in a meeting about freight transport and thought that this HyperLoop could actually be useful for shipping goods rather than people. So I wrote this letter.
