In 2020 I wrote GOTV letters for @votefwd. Finally got to see how things turned out. It’s a small sample size but 41% of my NC and 65% of my TX folks voted. Feels like I accomplished something and should write some in 2022.

The EPA has partnered with the Children’s Environmental Health Workgroup to fund the Healthy Homes program in Ward 8. This program intends to reduce the household exposure to pollutants as this exposure leads to poorer health outcomes.

Some District residents experience disproportionate levels of harmful Fine Particulates (PM2.5) and this can vary by neighborhood. DOEE launched a webpage to keep residents in Buzzard Point informed about PM2.5 levels in their community.
